Job Description

AVID Technical Resources is partnering with our client to find a Sr. .Net Developer for a full-time opportunity in Omaha, NE. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Conducting research and analysis to perform product design
  • Application development, application security, testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Preparing program specifications and creating coding logic flowcharts
  • Participating in client interactions to develop system solutions to business problems
  • Writing clean code with an emphasis on quality, simplicity, and maintainability
  • Mentoring more junior developers
  • Leading projects as needed
Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of .Net Development experience
  • Experience working as a Senior/Lead Software Engineer
  • Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Experience with Agile, Test Driven Development or related lifecycle methodologies
  • ASP.NET Web API, ODataV4, Data Lake, HDFS, WebHDFS, AzureSql, CosmosDB
  • HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript experience
  • Web Services experience
  • Experience hosting applications using the Azure ecosystem
  • Experience with Design patterns, SOA design & web service development
  • Experience with UX and User Centric Design (UCD)
  • Ability to travel when required
  • Ability to work in a full-time role without sponsorship
Desired Experience:
  • Front-end: SignalR, Angular4, Kendo UI, React, and Xamarin
  • Back-end: LogicApps, Azure WebJobs, Azure Functions, Azure API Management
  • SharePoint development experience
  • Database design and programming experience
