AVID Technical Resources is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to work the night shift for our Health Care cilent at a Clinic in Pasadena

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide administrative support to medical providers and medical staff
  • Discharge patients after medical visits, arrange for follow-up appointments
  • Process referrals for Medi-Cal, Medicare, Managed Care and County.
  • Request authorizations using the Web Portal and E-consult.
  • Perform data collection and perform extensive patient tracking and follow-up care.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
  • Front Desk Position: Patient Scheduling (In-person & phone), Insurance, Referrals, EoB, Data Entry
  • EXPERIENCE WORKING IN MEDICAL FRONT OFFICE A MUST
  • 2+ year of Admin experience in Medical office
  • High school diploma required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various benefits administration practices, Medical Terminology
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly on data entry tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Strong skills with MS Office Suite, particularly with Excel and Word
Estimated Pay Rate Range
Contract Hourly Rate ranging: $18 - 21 USD -- Dependent on Experience
