ROLL & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of Application Server Technologist on the Application Platform Services Team works in a DevOps-focused environment. The team engages in a broad variety of application server support including tooling & technology research, service orchestration, standardization and automation. We specialize in application server troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrades; and we supply a full range of support for the development, configuration and implementation of third-party applications.
The role requires a solid background in Windows Application Server technical support (Linux is a plus), including service request support and application server troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrading, etc. Work requires strict alignment with secure platform standards and practices in support of on-premises and/or cloud-based virtualized application servers. Examples of our tools and platforms include Tenable vulnerability scanning and remediation, Octopus Deploy & Azure DevOps, Azure Service Bus, API Connect Gateway, CRM, SAP, PeopleSoft, SQL Server, Oracle and many other legacy and emerging technologies.
