Job Description

AVID Technical Resources is seeking a remote Programmer Analyst to provide support to their Higher Ed client in Los Angeles

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Collaborates with end users on the development of requirements and design of applications. Designs user friendly web interfaces, forms and processes. Maintains and enhances existing applications.
  2. Follows established code guidelines and best practices. Maintains a high degree of knowledge on various technologies and tools. Designs and develops HR web applications and functionality using various development tools e.g. .Net, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, Classic ASP, JQuery, AJAX, HTML, HTMLS, CSS, CSS3, Visual Studio, APls, Web Services, and other programming languages necessary.
  3. Creates and provides customized reports to managers, users and vendors. Designs reports using MS Access, SQL Reporting Services1 Crystal Report, etc.
  4. Provides troubleshooting support for the web applications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated skills in designing and developing Web Applications
  • Demonstrated skills in MS SQL: writing stored procedures, triggers, views, jobs, alerts, security, administration etc.
  • Demonstrated skills in MS Access, SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Report
  • Demonstrated skills in ASP.NET MVC, Classic ASP, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTMLS, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design {UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Multimedia Content Development, APl's, SLDC, DBMS
  • Experience supporting Human Resources in the design, development, and maintenance of HR systems and applications is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and peers
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and be adaptable to change priorities quickly
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
