Project Coordinator (NCORP Programs)

Summary:  The Project Coordinator for NCORP Programs will be responsible for providing administrative and project coordination/support to our client's Division of Cancer Prevention Co-Chairs and NCORP Program leadership.  NCORP – NCI Community Oncology Research Program.

Job Requirements

Experience
      • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a clinical research setting. Oncology experience a plus
      • A minimum of three (3) years project coordination experience
      • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and understanding of ICH/FDA guidance for Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is helpful
      • Previous work experience with membership based organizations is helpful
      • Understanding and/or exposure to the grant writing process is helpful
      • Experience or education in medical or scientific area an advantage, particularly oncology
      • Experience working in a community setting and/or at a NCORP institution a plus
      • Previous experience in clinical trials preferred

Education
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and/or relevant professional experience is required

Responsibilities
  • Conference call management (scheduling, minutes, tracking action items, and any necessary follow up) for several NCORP committees and programs.
  • Group Meeting support: Provides administrative support for group meeting activities including assistance with agenda development, ensuring meeting schedule, meeting room logistics (AV/food/beverage/room set up) are coordinated, assisting with meeting conduct (attendance sheet, collecting slide decks), and any other tasks associated with in person and webex meetings
  • Liaise with protocol development to maintain tracking documents related to protocols in development, active trials, including DCP funding sheets
  • Liaise with NCORP co-PI and other Project Managers, attend weekly Project Management team meetings organized by the NCORP co-PI
  • Assists with protocol review of DCP studies, track status of protocols and amendments in development
  • Assistance with grant meetings and retreat planning
  • Assistance with grant writing activities
  • Attendance at the bi-annual EA Group meetings is mandatory
  • Other tasks as necessary to support the DCP/NCORP Program
  • Assist with SOP/WI development and maintenance
  • Responsible for special projects, as assigned by the Deputy Executive Director
