Position Overview:
As a Lead HRIS Analyst, you will be a key individual contributor responsible for providing expert-level functional and technical support for our HR applications. This role demands a deep understanding of HRIS systems to spearhead complex projects, collaborate with both internal and external experts, and drive key HRIS initiatives. You will be instrumental in creating and implementing innovative solutions, enhancing processes, and ensuring the efficiency of our HR systems. Reporting to the HRIS Manager, you will also support executive leadership with strategic HR technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical support specialist for HR systems, leading advanced HRIS projects and strategic initiatives.
- Deliver expert-level functional and technical assistance, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain data accuracy.
- Develop, implement, and maintain user procedures, guidelines, and process documentation.
- Analyze HR functionalities, recommend system improvements, and propose enhancements.
- Oversee system access and security, conduct data audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, HR managers, and various vendors to develop solutions tailored to organizational needs.
- Lead and participate in the planning, testing, and deployment of system upgrades and patches.
- Stay updated on current HR technology trends and understand statutory and regulatory impacts on HR, Benefits, Recruitment, and Payroll systems.
- Mentor team members, encourage knowledge sharing, and foster team collaboration.
- Manage HRIS projects and perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Over 10 years of experience in HR and HRIS systems with a strong grasp of HR, Benefits, and Payroll processes.
- Extensive knowledge of Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence systems; experience with platforms such as Workday, Ultipro, Kronos Workforce Central, Cognos BI Reporting, and Visual Studio is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
- Previous experience in HRMS/Human Capital Management implementation and project management.
- Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of HR data management principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
