Job Description

AViD Technical Resources is seeking an experienced EPIC Interface Analyst to work fully remotely for their Health Care client in Los Angeles

  1. ​​​​Analysis, conversion, implementation and management of interfaces to/from Epic.
  2. Assist in obtaining an in-depth understanding of core interface function and assist in identifying and gathering the necessary information to configure Epic interfaces.
  3. Identify the key data elements and how they relate to various interfacing scenarios.
  4. Conduct functional and integrated testing in preparation for live cut over.
  5. Assisting with the operations and maintaining the interfaces after that go-live. This includes troubleshooting issues and come up with solutions for these issues.
  6. Make modifications in Fuse with interface changes and build new interfaces from start to finish in Fuse.
  7. Proficiency in migration of Fuse components to future version of Fuse and good understanding of API platform and functions of web services. 

Technical Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience is required. 
  • Hands on Experience with JAVA, Fuse version 6.3, JMQ, J2EE Architecture and development
  • Extensive knowledge and experiences in all the phase levels: analysis, design, implementation, testing and migration as well as monitoring and support on a large number of systems.
  • Hands on Experience with the following eWay Adapters: HL7, Batch, SFTP, Database, IBM MQ, X12
  • Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting. Knowledge of Mulesoft engine is helpful.
  • Knowledge of RESTFUL API, JSON and Spring framework.
  • Including good understanding of JUNIT/MUNIT and Jenkins technology
  • Basic project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan) 
  • Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design 
  • Prior experience with IT systems and systems development projects 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with information systems technology including Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet and other systems
