Job Description

AVID Technical Resources is partnering with our client to find a Lead Software Engineer for a full-time opportunity in Omaha, NE.   
 
Responsibilities Include: 
  • System and product design
  • Leading and participating in the architectural design of features
  • Producing quality designs that meet performance, scalability, and flexibility requirements
  • Leading the team in establishing program specifications and coding logic flowcharts
  • Working with Product Owners to translate roadmap features into manageable task, estimate timings and resources, suggest solutions, and identify possible risks
  • Championing automated testing and test-driven development
  • Writing clean well thought out design and code
  • Serving as the primary technical point of contact
  • Mentoring junior developers
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Lead/Senior Software Engineering experience
  • Experience with Agile, Test Driven Development or related lifecycle methodologies
  • Experience with SignalR, Angular4, Kendo UI, React, and Xamarin
  • Experience with LogicApps, Azure WebJobs, Azure Funtions, Azure API Management, ASP.NET Web API, ODataV4, Data Lake, HDFS, WebHDFS, AzureSql, CosmosDB
  • Experience with the IDesign software architecture framework a plus
  • Experience with database design and programming
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with Web Services
  • Experience with Design patterns, SOA design & web service development
  • Experience with UX and User Centric Design
  • Ability to work in a full-time role without sponsorship
