AVID Technical Resources is seeking a Technical Recruiter for their Higher Education client in Los Angeles

The Technical Recruiter will...
  • Oversee and facilitate full-lifecycle recruitment activities including recruitment marketing, direct contact/sourcing of candidates through networking and social media, candidate screening, candidate interview process oversight and coordination, reference checking and compensation negotiation activities. 
  • Ensure completion of recruitment and selection documentation for record keeping
  • Assist with onboarding activities and coordination with service providers, talent acquisition system status updates, and candidate status tracking
  • Complete recruitment pipeline reports on regular basis to support activities with hiring managers
  • Assist with development of interview questions in consultation with hiring managers
  • Develop candidate assessment criteria, and provide recommendations for candidate consideration
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience working in a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources capacity; demonstrated experience with technical recruitment across all IT areas/function. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop compelling messaging to attract and source highly skilled candidates for information technology and related positions. 
  • Skilled in recruitment marketing, direct-sourcing, social media outreach and diversity recruitment. 
  • Ability to independently oversee full life-cycle recruitment activities to drive hiring activities among leadership; proactively plans hiring activities with hiring managers from screening through onboarding. 
  • Possess the verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization; ability to use standard English grammar and punctuation. 
  • Skill and experience to effectively utilize common office productivity software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook, Slack, Zoom, and internet browsers. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Psychology or related and three years of experience OR combination of relevant professional experience and education. 
  • Ability and willingness to work after-hours as needed or assigned.
