Job Description Infrastructure Coordinator Location: Boston, Massachusetts Date Posted: 7/13/2023 Employment Type: Consulting Recruiter: Clayton Minnich Recruiter Email: clayton.minnich@avidtr.com Job ID: JN -072023-15644 Job Description Description: Coordination and implementation of infrastructure and hardware within IT closetsCoordination with vendors for implementation of inter and intra building IT cabling needsPrepares procurement specifications, evaluates bids for low voltage and telecommunications work.Conceptualize plans, details and sections to accurately convey construction/installation requirements.Telecommunication and low voltage system design, technical analyses and resolution of engineering problemsTelecommunications and low voltage system equipment selection, specifications and cost estimatesDesigns, sizes and specifies equipment/systems, including; Telecommunications cable plants and pathways both OSP and ISPTelecommunications system equipment selectionRack layouts and elevationsTelecommunications room layoutsLow voltage signal systems including paging, fire alarm, security, CCTV and miscellaneous systemsPerforms calculations using specialized engineering similar software, including; MDF/IDF room and equipment sizingCable/ Tray Fill Ability to collaborate with construction firms to identify and document infrastructure requirements Ability to read/ edit construction drawings and documents Coordination with clients, with other engineering disciplines, with vendors, and with construction contractors.
