Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy automation solutions to streamline IT operations and service fulfillment
• Develop and maintain monitoring and reporting systems
• Write and manage scripts and integrations using modern automation frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-impact infrastructure improvements
• Support 24/7 business continuity efforts as needed
• Contribute to evolving business needs through flexible and proactive project support

• 2+ years of experience with automation, scripting, or web development
• 10+ years in networking or systems administration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
• Deep experience with automation infrastructure, monitoring systems, and reporting solutions
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 additional years may substitute for degree)

• Certification in automation or DevOps methodologies
• Proven ability to deliver high-visibility technical projects
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Programming/Scripting: Python, Perl, Shell, SQL
• Automation: Ansible, Chef, Puppet
• APIs and Protocols: REST, XML, NETCONF
• Web Frameworks: Experience with modern web development stacks
• Network Automation: Netmiko, Napalm, Nornir
• DCIM Tools: Netbox, Nautobot
