Systems Engineer

Position Summary
A leading defense contractor is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions supporting mission-critical programs. You will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements, design, verification & validation (V&V), and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions using documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and structured code

• Conduct systems analysis to recommend improvements in processes and procedures

• Apply Agile and DevOps practices for cloud and non-cloud applications

• Manage software tools, repositories, and licensing

• Collaborate with government and industry partners to deliver mission-critical capabilities

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience (3+ in DoD programs) or 15+ years of relevant experience

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C++, Java, Python, etc.)

• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and SDLC/V&V practices

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
