Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, customer-focused Office & Department Coordinator to support daily operations within an academic department environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, communicating with a variety of stakeholders, and keeping an office running smoothly. You will serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, faculty, and staff while also assisting with administrative tasks, scheduling, hybrid meeting support, and general departmental coordination.
Qualifications
Required
- 1–3 years of administrative, office support, or customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and multitask.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting hybrid meetings (in-person + virtual).
- Ability to handle tasks independently and follow through on assignments accurately.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working in a university or academic setting.
