Our client is a nationally recognized organization within the insurance industry that provides centralized management and operational services to support regional and industry-specific groups. They are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead enterprise infrastructure and operations functions. This role is responsible for ensuring core technology platforms are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.


Position Summary

The IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of enterprise systems and platforms, including cloud services, identity and collaboration tools, business applications, databases, and supporting infrastructure.

This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders to help shape technology strategy, drive operational excellence, and ensure high-quality service delivery across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the deployment, support, and optimization of enterprise platforms, including cloud services, identity management, networking, virtualization, storage, backup and disaster recovery, monitoring, and related infrastructure.

  • Ensure Infrastructure & Operations activities are aligned with business priorities and organizational goals.

  • Maintain regular communication with business unit leaders and end users regarding IT initiatives, service performance, and operational issues.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for technology initiatives.

  • Develop and execute short and long-term plans to ensure technology services meet business, security, compliance, and operational needs.

  • Establish and maintain operational standards, policies, procedures, and performance metrics to drive service excellence.

  • Define, monitor, and improve service level objectives and operational KPIs.

  • Oversee infrastructure-related projects and manage related priorities and resources.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff, including recruitment, performance management, and professional growth.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices and apply them to improve operations and service delivery.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

  • Master’s degree is a plus

  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of formal education

Experience

  • 9+ years of progressive IT experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading Infrastructure & Operations teams

  • Strong background supporting enterprise platforms, cloud services, identity and access management, networking, virtualization, storage, backup and disaster recovery, monitoring, and operational service delivery
