Lab Trainer

Requirements

• Proficient clinical knowledge of radiographic positioning, equipment operation, image production, and patient-care skills sufficient to demonstrate and supervise laboratory practice.
• Familiar knowledge of radiation-safety and patient-safety principles, including ALARA, shielding, collimation, infection control, and safe patient handling.
• Familiarity with JRCERT Standards applicable to laboratory instruction, including the 1:1 student-to-equipment ratio and direct-supervision expectations.
• Skill in demonstrating psychomotor techniques and in evaluating students' skill acquisition with objective, documented criteria.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for small-group instruction, feedback, and student support.
• Ability to manage a safe, organized, and equitable laboratory environment for small student groups.
• Ability to align laboratory activities with didactic content and program learning outcomes.
• Proficiency with standard office software and learning-management/clinical-tracking platforms.
