Data & Reporting Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data & Reporting Analyst to support data governance reporting and analytics within a complex IT environment. This role will focus on maintaining data quality developing dashboards and reports integrating data across multiple business systems and translating complex information into actionable insights for leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical reporting skills combined with excellent analytical and communication abilities. Experience working with PMO or IT data is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data governance standards definitions taxonomies and quality controls.
• Monitor data for inconsistencies missing information duplicate records and classification issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate data corrections with project and portfolio teams.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports using Power BI ServiceNow Smartsheet and Jira.
• Build and maintain integrations connectors and APIs between business systems to streamline reporting.
• Use Power Query Power Automate and Power Apps to support data transformation validation and workflow automation.
• Analyze project portfolio data to identify trends risks exceptions and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare executive-level dashboards scorecards presentations and reporting materials.
• Validate reporting outputs for accuracy completeness consistency and presentation quality.
• Gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into effective data solutions.
• Train stakeholders on data entry standards reporting processes and data quality practices.
• Recommend improvements to reporting workflows data governance and automation.
• Support financial reporting by ensuring project and portfolio data is accurate and reliable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics Information Systems Computer Science Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data management reporting analytics or data governance.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow Power BI Smartsheet and Jira.
• Experience with ServiceNow PPM or similar project portfolio management systems.
• Proficiency with Power Query Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience developing system integrations connectors or APIs.
• Strong understanding of data governance data quality data cleansing and data standards.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience creating executive-level reports dashboards and presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams project managers and senior leadership.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Higher education or experience within a complex enterprise environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools for analytics reporting or quality assurance is a plus.
