Every Director of Business Operations who works hard and produces will be eligible to become a Regional Director of Business Operations (RDBO). With the promotion, comes an increase in base salary and additional responsibilities. As a Regional Director of Business Operations, you’re responsible for the following duties/responsibilities:
- Manage the revenue goals and production within each AVID office.
- Manage the Director of Business Operations of each AVID office and provide feedback relating to job performance.
- Create and define individual revenue goals for each Director of Business Operations and work closely with them to achieve.
- Create and define office revenue goals with each Director of Business Operations.
- Use judgment to frequently visit each AVID office in territory.
- Making important financial decisions that impact the profitability of AVID.
- Identify and implement changes and procedures to enable AVID to limit costs and expenses.
- Identify and recommend new advertising/marketing methods to increase AVID’s revenue.
- Initiate and implement more efficient means for AVID to generate revenue.
- Identify and recommend new business opportunities for AVID.
- Make recommendations regarding employee promotion, discipline, and discharge.
- Lead review processes and discipline/discharge meetings.
- Use discretion to develop/revise AVID’s policies and procedures.
- Use discretion to convene and conduct meetings with AVID’s employees, and/or offices, as necessary.
- Work with DBO to determine their target accounts and help formulate a game plan.
- Utilize AVID technologies to put together metrics and reports.
- Identify and recommend new business opportunities for AVID.
- Help organize and track the business pipeline with AVID offices.
- Communicate the sense of urgency to employees to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Other duties as may be assigned by AVID’s Principals
