Job Description
The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for managing schedules, resources, vendors, and execution for network and infrastructure projects across a distributed physical environment. This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across facilities, technical teams, and leadership stakeholders.
You will work within a larger project ecosystem while directly managing a core working group and driving delivery in a fast-moving, operationally complex environment.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5–6 years of IT project management experience with a focus on infrastructure and networking
- Proven experience delivering network-centric projects (equipment refresh, wireless upgrades, cabling, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects already in flight
- Experience working in complex, physical environments involving buildings and materials
- Higher education or similarly structured environments strongly preferred
- Strong hands-on project management approach
- Expertise in schedule, resource, and dependency management
- Proficiency with Smartsheet (required)
- Experience with Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid delivery models
- Progressive experience supporting network infrastructure initiatives
- Knowledge of cabling systems (fiber optic, copper, coaxial)
- Familiarity with construction documentation, blueprints, and AutoCAD
- Understanding of BICSI standards
- RCDD preferred; inactive RCDD or BICSI LAN-related certifications acceptable
- Construction or facilities-related project exposure is a plus
