Lean Six Sigma Consultant

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five or more years of experience leading business process improvement initiatives within a complex organization, preferably in higher education or similarly matrixed environment
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with demonstrated application of DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, and process reengineering methodologies
• Experience translating strategic objectives into operational improvement strategies
• Demonstrated expertise in organizational change management, including stakeholder engagement, behavior adoption, and long-term sustainment strategies
• Advanced facilitation skills, including the ability to guide diverse stakeholder groups, build consensus, and present complex information clearly to executive and operational audiences
• Experience designing and delivering training and mentoring in Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
• Working knowledge of core administrative business functions (e.g., finance, HR, payroll, research administration) within a large, complex organization
• Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet, including building and managing project databases, developing dashboards and automated reports, designing workflows and formulas, and creating executive-level performance reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Visio)

• Change Management certification (Prosci preferred and/or ACMP)
• Project Management Professional certification
• Experience working as a business analyst or business process analyst in an academic environmen
