Statistical Analyst

We are seeking a Statistical Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and research initiatives within a collaborative analytics and actuarial environment. This role will work with large datasets to interpret and transform data, support analytical projects, and help improve data processes and reporting tools.

The ideal candidate has strong quantitative skills, experience working with data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data using analytical and statistical tools to support business insights

• Assess data quality and identify anomalies or inconsistencies in datasets

• Develop and produce accurate reports for internal teams and external stakeholders

• Perform quality control checks on analytical outputs prior to release

• Support automation and technology solutions to streamline analysis and reporting

• Maintain documentation of analytical processes and procedures

• Assist with maintaining data records and supporting updates to reporting systems

• Collaborate with analytics and actuarial teams on research projects and technical initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, statistics, actuarial support, or similar analytical roles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools

• Familiarity with at least one database or statistical tool such as SQL, Access, or SAS

• Exposure to programming languages such as R or Python is a plus
