Collections Analyst

AVID Technical Resources is seeking a Collections Analyst to support our healthcare client managing inpatient and outpatient claims, ensuring timely follow-up and maximum collections. This role involves handling a portfolio of accounts, maintaining detailed documentation, and engaging in frequent phone contact with payers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and follow up on claims to secure payments.
• Respond to correspondence and resolve account issues.
• Contact third-party payers to determine reimbursement status and discrepancies.
• Use hospital billing systems and Microsoft programs effectively.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of hospital collections experience with contract knowledge.
• Strong understanding of billing, follow-up, and collection procedures.
• Familiar with UB04 requirements and medical billing processes.

Hourly range: $25-$27/hour (DOE)
