HVAC Technician

Requirements
∙ Journey level knowledge equivalent to  four years completion in an apprentice  program as a journey mechanics, with a  minimum of four years’ actual work  
experience in the trade or a combination  of equivalent education and work  
experience.
∙ Must be skilled in the use of tools,  materials and equipment of the heating,  ventilating, and air-conditioning trade.  
∙ Must be able to read blueprints, and work  from prints and sketches.  
∙ Must work in compliance with building  codes and industry standards, and in  compliance with various safety  
standards.  
∙ May be required to have the ability to  obtain and maintain a California Non commercial Class license.
• Valid California Non-commercial Class C Driver’s license.
• Must have current EPA Certification and/or Universal Technician Certification.
