AI Product Manager

AVID Technical Resources is seeking an AI Product Manager to support our client in Palm Springs, CA.

Job Summary: Responsible for guiding the identification and implementation of artificial intelligence products, focusing on aligning product outcomes with business objectives and ensuring they meet organizational and user demands. This position demands a strong analytical mindset and a robust understanding of AI technologies, coupled with the ability to work effectively across teams to launch products that are innovative, user-centric, and business-focused.

Job Responsibilities:

• Primary role in assisting IT leadership with strategizing and defining the product vision for AI-driven initiatives.
• Work closely with the Sr Manager, Product Design and Development on managing the entire AI product lifecycle, from planning and development to deployment and maintenance.
• Lead efforts related to creating product strategies, roadmaps, and schedules in collaboration with cross-functional technical and business teams to ensure product success and integration.
• Assist IT leadership with defining AI success metrics associated with revenue generation and/or automation efforts.
• Continually research and recommend AI systems training for business users and technical teams.
• Keep abreast of advancements in the artificial intelligence field, as well as competitors, and make applicable improvement recommendations to IT leadership to ensure best-in-class offerings.
• Oversee the implementation of AI products and solutions.
• Provide recommendations to streamline AI ethics and governance.
• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners to support product identification and implementation.
• Work closely with business data owners and custodians on defining and managing data ownership and related responsibilities.
• Work closely with the Sr Manager, Product Design and Development on evaluating AI business user risk assessments and preparing summaries for review by IT leadership.
• Assist the Sr Manager, Product Design and Development with prioritizing current and upcoming projects based on available resources.
• Manage activities of the AI project team.
• Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both internal stakeholders and end users.
• Assist IT leadership with developing project business cases, obtaining funding approvals, and securing buy-in from key stakeholders.
• Must comply with all applicable internal controls, standard operating procedures, and organizational regulations.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of Product Management experience within technology-focused environments, including direct experience supporting AI-driven products and solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including ML model training, validation, inference, model performance metrics, APIs, and system integrations.
• Proven experience developing product roadmaps, defining product strategy, and presenting recommendations to executive and senior leadership teams.
• Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives while collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors in fast-paced environments.
• Preferred background within casino, gaming, hospitality, or customer experience-driven industries, with strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
