Job Description

The ideal candidate is a seasoned project manager who can operate independently, manage competing priorities, establish accountability, and move complex initiatives forward in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of large, complex IT projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams to ensure projects remain aligned with established objectives and timelines.
  • Translate business requirements and organizational priorities into actionable project plans.
  • Manage project scope, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Ensure project plans address technology delivery, organizational readiness, change management, and operational transition.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive sponsors.
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication regarding progress, decisions, risks, and next steps.
  • Provide regular status reporting and performance updates to leadership and governance groups.
  • Track project financials, resource utilization, milestones, and overall project health.
  • Lead and support cross-functional project teams while establishing accountability and clear ownership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, processes, and organizational outcomes.
  • Coordinate post-project activities, including lessons learned, documentation, and transition to operational teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8–10 years of progressive IT project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Experience delivering enterprise technology projects involving areas such as infrastructure, applications, cloud, data, CRM, ERP, or system integrations.
  • Strong experience working with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience managing organizational change, competing priorities, and complex project dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or Jira.
  • Strong budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and financial oversight capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or comparable project management certification.
  • Experience leading enterprise technology implementations through adoption and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Experience with organizational change and operational readiness.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging enterprise technologies.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Higher education or other large enterprise experience.
