Senior IT Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise IT project management and organizational change management, with experience guiding stakeholders through significant technology implementations and process changes.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication, strategic thinking, project execution, and the ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive IT project management experience.
• Proven experience managing large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level technology projects such as CRM, ERP, infrastructure, data integration, or cloud initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience supporting organizational or technology change management initiatives.
• Experience developing change management plans, stakeholder adoption strategies, training coordination, and post-implementation support.
• Experience working with business teams, technical teams, and executive-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Strong experience managing competing priorities in complex or evolving environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between technology, business processes, and organizational objectives.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or ServiceNow.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with project budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP, Agile, PRINCE2, or comparable project management certification/training.
• Experience within higher education or another large, complex organization.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide change initiatives.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience using data and metrics to support project planning and decision-making.
