Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support one or more senior leaders within a busy academic and research-driven environment. This role requires exceptional calendar management, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism. You will serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, external partners, and visitors while helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations for the executives you support.
Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, handle scheduling complexity with ease, and demonstrate excellent judgment when prioritizing tasks.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3–5 years of executive assistant or high-level administrative support experience.
- Expert-level calendar management skills (heavy volume, shifting priorities).
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience supporting academic, research, or higher education leadership.
- Experience with visitor engagement, event coordination, and faculty interactions.
- Prior use of Concur for travel and expense reporting.
