Job Description
Position Overview
The Administrative Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the full lifecycle of a competitive application program – from the call for submissions through evaluation and final selection.
This individual will assist with monitoring application submissions, managing applicant records, coordinating reviewers, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the process. The position requires strong attention to detail, database management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with applicants and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional administrative or program support experience
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Experience working with database systems or CRM platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience supporting application, scholarship, or award review programs
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress
- Experience with survey or learning management platforms
- Exposure to entrepreneurship, innovation, or academic program environments
