Operational Accountant

This position will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing asset lifecycles, supporting audits, and ensuring financial processes align with established policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets and cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Experience with financial reporting and accounting operations
• Experience with capital asset accounting or fixed asset management preferred
• Workday Finance experience strongly preferred
• Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and interpret large datasets
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Higher education and grant management experience is a plus
