UI/UX Designer

This role will lead a comprehensive redesign of an existing graduate admissions CRM portal within the Technolutions Slate platform.
Working closely with internal design, creative, and marketing teams, the contractor will be responsible for creating a modern, intuitive, and accessible user experience for prospective graduate students. The work includes UX research, wireframing, prototyping, interface design, and front-end HTML/CSS implementation within the CRM environment.
A secondary project may include the redesign of responsive HTML email templates used in the CRM’s communication workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio
• Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS
• Strong experience designing within CRM platforms, preferably Slate
• Expertise with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles
• Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first experiences
• Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
• Experience working within design systems and component libraries
• Excellent visual design skills including typography, layout, and color hierarchy
• Ability to work independently and manage project scope effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder presentation skills

• Direct experience with Technolutions Slate CRM
• Experience designing Slate portals and content blocks
• HTML email design experience within CRM systems
• Higher education or admissions experience preferred
• Experience with student-facing digital experiences
