Job Description

Position Overview
The Leave Management Specialist will manage a caseload of employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with company policies as well as federal and multi-state leave laws (FMLA, etc.). This role works closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and external vendors to deliver accurate, timely, and employee-focused leave administration.

The ideal candidate has experience handling complex leave cases across multiple states, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with employees and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in leave administration or HR case management
  • Experience managing multi-state leave (FMLA and related regulations)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday)
  • Experience working in high-volume or complex organizational environments
  • Knowledge of disability and benefits coordination
