Technical Integration Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Integration Architect to join our technology team. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining integration solutions that connect complex enterprise systems while supporting both operational and strategic business needs. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Azure Cloud, Informatica, and API Gateway technologies, with a proven ability to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable integration architectures in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop integration standards, patterns, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design and implement enterprise integration architectures connecting diverse systems (ERP, CRM, Learning Systems, HR, Finance, etc.).
• Evaluate and recommend integration platforms, tools, and strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Create technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and detailed implementation roadmaps.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to development teams.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, particularly in cloud and integration ecosystems.
• Document integration processes, standards, and architectural approaches.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate and optimize integration strategies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integrations to maintain high availability and performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of IT architecture experience, with 5+ years focused on integration solutions.
• Advanced skills with Azure services, including Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, and Service Bus.
• Experience designing REST APIs, SOAP web services, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with ETL, data integration patterns, and middleware technologies.
• Experience with iPaaS solutions and DevOps practices for integration.
• Strong understanding of identity management and authentication (Azure AD, SAML, OAuth).
• Familiarity with enterprise applications such as ERP, HR, Student Information Systems, and CRM.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards (FERPA, GDPR, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Expert, Integration/Developer Associate).
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Ellucian Ethos, Informatica Cloud, Kafka, Azure Data Factory, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of containerization and microservices (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in large-scale enterprise or education technology environments.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
