Sr. Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help modernize and advance enterprise data platforms. This role is critical to driving cloud-based innovation, improving data practices, and enabling advanced analytics across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, cloud technologies, and automation—paired with the ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams.
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in database architecture or data engineering roles.
• 2–3 years of experience with cloud-based data technologies (Azure strongly preferred).
• Expertise in:
  • Microsoft Azure Data Platform (Fabric, Data Factory, Spark, Data Warehouse, Data Lake/Lakehouse).
  • Microsoft SQL Server (development, optimization, performance tuning).
  • Advanced Python programming and PowerShell scripting.
  • T-SQL development, ETL/ELT design, SSIS/SSRS integration, and data pipeline design.
  • Business Intelligence and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong experience with metadata management, MDM, and enterprise data catalog tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Experience with Git, APIs, JSON/XML, Agile workflows, and automation practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Informatica Cloud, Snowflake, Kafka, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Background in large-scale enterprise or professional services environments.
• Knowledge of legal or financial industry application databases (e.g., iManage, Foundation, ServiceNow).
