A/V Technician

AVID Technical Resources is seeking an A/V Technician to join a dynamic IT Services team at a major research university in San Diego. As an AV IT Engineer, you’ll design and implement audio-visual and IT infrastructure for classrooms, labs, and event spaces. Responsibilities include creating engineering plans, reviewing budgets and equipment, and ensuring projects align with client needs and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong AV/IT system design skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends and occasional travel
• This is a hands-on, San Diego-based role ideal for a technically skilled, collaborative professional.
