AVID Technical Resources is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to work onsite in Los Angeles. The pay is $20/hr DOE.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Front Desk Position: Patient Scheduling (In-person & phone), Insurance, Referrals, EoB, Data Entry
- EXPERIENCE WORKING IN MEDICAL FRONT OFFICE A MUST
- 2+ year of Admin experience in Medical office
- High school diploma required
- Demonstrated knowledge of various benefits administration practices, Medical Terminology
- Strong attention to detail, particularly on data entry tasks
- Excellent written and verbal Communication and Customer Service skills
- Strong skills with MS Office Suite, particularly with Excel and Word
- Must adhere to uniform requirements: light blue button-ups and black slacks
- Provide administrative support to medical providers and medical staff
- Discharge patients after medical visits, arrange for follow-up appointments
- Process referrals for Medi-Cal, Medicare, Managed Care and County.
- Request authorizations using the Web Portal and E-consult.
- Perform data collection and perform extensive patient tracking and follow-up care.
