Key Responsibilities

You’ll engage with a portfolio of cross-functional, design-led initiatives, including:
  • Classroom Experience Redesign: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of classroom technology and design, including usability research, prototype evaluation, and user experience improvements.
  • AI in Education Resource Development: Help maintain and grow a digital knowledge hub dedicated to the evolving intersection of AI and pedagogy. This includes content creation, video production support, and collaboration with faculty contributors.
  • Instructional Design Consultation: Apply learning sciences and design-thinking expertise across the team's efforts, including multimedia learning design, pilot technology integrations, and evaluation planning.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Expertise in Instructional Design & Learning Sciences: Deep understanding of cognitive science, engagement strategies, accessibility, and design for various learning technologies and formats.
  • Project Management Excellence: Proven track record of leading complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders. Strong command of tools like Asana, Slack, and Microsoft 365.
  • Exceptional Writing & Editorial Skills: Ability to produce and refine content that clearly communicates complex concepts—especially related to AI, education, and instructional design.
  • Data-Informed Design Approach: Experience conducting discovery through interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Self-Starter with High Autonomy: Quick learner with a resourceful mindset, comfortable navigating academic environments with minimal hand-holding.
  • AI Literacy in Educational Contexts: Knowledge of current AI tools and trends, and their application in teaching and learning workflows.
  • Multimedia Collaboration Experience: Skilled in guiding instructional video and media production, including working with faculty and studio teams. Bonus for hands-on design skills in areas like graphic design or animation.
  • Academic Environment Savvy: Familiarity with the culture, rigor, and rhythm of higher education institutions—particularly within graduate or professional programs.
