Google TV, streaming movies and shows to your TV

Time is hard to come by with so many events, projects, and homework.  As an IT recruiter I work long hours and often weekends.  Therefore, I am not always able to watch my shows when they first air but instead opt to watch it online.  This requires me to find the episode online then connect my laptop to my television so that I can watch it.

Google TV is trying to cut out the laptop and just have you use your television to connect to the internet.  Many devices are now adding upgrades and applications to allow streaming to your television through services such as Netflix.

The only problem with this is that in order to stream from computers all you needed was a VGA cord or HDMI cable but with Google TV’s new service, your television will need to be compatible. In the end trying out the Google TV might be a pricey trial for now.

Our IT recruiting company has a number of employees who have been talking about the recent advancements in the video streaming industry.  A number of our technical resources also have engaged in new contract opportunities for various clients looking to capitalize on this very technology.

We’ll be sure to provide additional blog posts with any new updates.
